Was a day I been waiting for, the weather was all looking good also. The ride was tough but even when it's hurting (and it was hurting) you can still do nothing but enjoy it when you are surrounded by great people. Looking forward to another day on the bike tomorrow.- Shannon.

The day started off well with the sun shinning, for the riders to do well, road conditions could of been better, my only concern were a few of the truck drivers who could be more considerate, arrived in Dalby at 1.30pm with the riders looking well, support group glad to arrive, overall good trip. This is our third year being the main support an will be back again next year.           - Russell and Carol Clarke - Main support vehicle

Possibly the hardest day ridding I have ever done, but well worth it... Clinton.

Today is no doubt the toughest day I have ever spent on the bike 160k isn't that tough but we had 160k with a block head wind but anyway if nothing else it makes you stronger on the bike.:)))

Doing some hard training for the ride and training got some big races coming up state Time Trial Championships. And then the big one the worlds masters Time Trial Champ

This is what happens when you crash in the middle of a race it took Sandy a while to pick the Bitumen out of it I think she saved some for a Souvenir

Well the results of the State Time Trial is not as I planed had a good race but not fast enough only ran 5th in my class... don't know y but the locals didn't think much of us racing on Saturday they thought it would be a way of stoping us to throw tacks on the the road. Clinton who will b on the ride he picked up one of the tacks and finished with a flat front tyre he pulled off 3rd in his class.
But u always need to take a positive out of anything all I need to do is train harder longer and faster for next year.

Nothing more to do now training done all there is left to do now is race it as fast as your body will let you.stay tuned for tomorrow results

This is my Time Trial Bike after a service with full race set up these bike's are different to road bikes they are built for speed not comfort every thing is built around aerodynamics to get max speed out of the machine all there is, is you and the machine and the stop watch!!

Lite 2 hour training ride for today then hit some hill work tomorrow then I'm ready for the state Time Trial Championship fingers cross for first first place.:))
